PSConfEU MiniCon 2026 Is Next Week

Not everyone can make it to PowerShell Conference Europe in person, and June is a long way off for the rest of the year. That’s what the PSConfEU MiniCon is for: a free, online, one-day edition. This year’s MiniCon is next week, on Tuesday, October 13.

  • Free and online — open to everyone (the organizers only reserve the right to cap the number of people for technical reasons)
  • In Gather Town — a virtual world where you walk around as an avatar and bump into people, which works a lot more like a conference hallway than a video call does
  • Built for every time zone — sessions are spread over a morning (7:00 CEST), midday (13:00 CEST) and evening (18:30 CEST) block, so speakers and attendees from other continents can join at a reasonable hour

If you went to PSConfEU in June, it’s a good moment to catch up with people you met there. If you didn’t, it’s an easy way to get a taste of the community before deciding on the big one. Keep an eye on psconf.eu for the schedule and how to join.

Unfortunately I won’t be there this time — not as a speaker, and not as an attendee either. MiniCon falls during my kids’ school holidays, and we’re off to Disneyland Paris. As a Disney fan, I’m afraid that’s a pretty easy choice to make 😄

I will definitely watch the videos once they’re online, though.

Recordings of the previous editions are on the PSConfEU site — MiniCon 2025, 2024 and 2023 — so this year’s should end up on the recordings page as well. The recordings of the main conference in June are already there; my two sessions from it are in this post.

Happy scripting 😊
